Honda Seats in 2nd gen.

Ive been looking for something to replace my escort with and i found a 1990 ranger im interested in but my 1st gen was to small, im 6' 3". my brother blew up his 1989 honda prelude but before we scrapped it we took out some parts including the seats. so could i put the buckets from the honda in the ranger and fit comfortably.

if not, ddoes anybody have any sugested swap, i saw a set of pt cruiser back seats in one that look pretty good.

any help is much appreciated

kinda lookin to do something simular with my 90 ranger,put buckets in it,im 6'-3",and i fit quite easily in my truck with a bench seat,i hear you need to find some bucket seat rails out of a first or second gen ranger,and try to bolt them to the donor seats,you might need to fabricate some to get the rails to fit other manufactures seats,prolly gonna do that myself.

You'll have to see how far the rails are set apart in each seat, then deal with how they mount to the body, since a lot of mount are bolted at an angle.

I recently bought a set of 02 Acura 3.2CL black leather seats (they are nice!!!). Might put them in the Ranger. The rails are about 5" wider than the Ranger, but the floor brackets are removable, so I might use a flat steel plate to mount the CL rails, then bolt them on top of a set of narrower Ranger rails. If all else fails, I'll just throw in some Explorer leather seats, and make the CL seats into new office chairs haha.
