So went to the parts store to day to look at the shackles there for my chevy drop, these looks like they can be easley made. Any body got any pics?
thinking I can cut the stock shackle and use plate and make one.

I extended my stock ones about 8 years ago and they have held up fine over the years. They are on their second truck at the moment.

I pretty much cut and extended the sides where the leaf bolts through with some flat bar and added a square tube brace between the two sides where the weld joint was.

They never gave me any issues.

that ass always seem to see pictures of the front of your truck flexing nice to see the back end :P sorry for trend jack

very nice, By any chance you know how much you extended them?

I made them the same length hole to hole that a set of belltechs would be.

I did mine about 15 years ago (ones on my BII about 10 years ago). Same thing, no issues.
3/16" plate.
