just seeing what every ones brewed up with their fab skills..

post some pics of what you have.

The only one I have right now is a screwdriver I welded to the tool for my angle grinder. Kept grinding my fingers cuz the tool was too short. I guess I also did make a D44 upper ball joint insert tool out of a socket too.

My buddy has a bunch of sockets welded on the open end of wrenches. Kinda nice for torque converter bolts.

Another guy built a tubing bender out of a snowplow pump...it is really bad ass. I wish I knew him better so I could take some pics. He has a small machine shop and a good majority of the tools he has are stuff he built from scratch.

I got only one so far. I work on bicycles as a second job and I don't have the tool to set the star nuts in the fork so I pressed a socket onto teh end of a screwdriver. Hold the screwdriver handle, rest the socket on the star nut and tap them in with a mallet. Works like a charm.

i got alot of wrenches that i heated up and bent at a 45 degree angle. o yea and i got a couple philips screwdrivers that were beat so i ground them down to flat heads. lol im sure you guys have a couple of those...haha

I still have even after 20 years a little chunk of steel i made into a clutch centering tool. The night i was doing the clutch the kit i had rented for the centering tool. For some reason that i have no idea why didn't have the correct size for my mustang.

LUCKY for me i was in a friends shop and he had a small lathe. 10 minutes later and 3 inches of bar stock later i had a centering tool for a 302 =>
