home built radius arms and i beams

ill be interested to see them on your truck and in action, what are they made from?

im making mine 4.5 per side to work with my drop down brackets (for now) and coil springs similar to camburgs unequal beams, machining this peice so that when I decide to go with coilovers and equal length I can cut the tubing off and reuse them, i'll post more when I get time to work on them.

mill and lathe actually, its my buddys garage, he is a machinist by trade and is making the slugs that the rod ends screw into on the lathe along with some steel bushings, he is making the outer section of the I beam mostly on the mill using the lathe to cut the tapered holes for the ball joints. He has alot more than that almost a full machine shop in his backyard, I will be posting pics of the peices with all the machine work early next week and the finished beams a few days later.

Man i wish i had a machinest friend, specially one in an motor shop. My 4.0 would be all kinds of built up right now lol. By the way, when my 4.0 blows ill be building either the same 4.0 (if savlagable) or another into a 350 hp reliable monster for racing then still have it able to take a 100 shot of nitrous for the sand dunes . It can be done, got a buddy doin all the reseach for me already lol
