so i went out to my pick-up just now an dlet it warm up and decided to check the maf and i unplugged it while it was running and no change. the truck still ran normally. so i plugged it back in and unplugged the iac and the truck ran normally, no change. i unplugged both of them and it still ran. what the hell is wrong?

PCM operates in open loop for cold start, uses "canned" values in place of actual sensors.
After CTS reports X increase in temperature, PCM goes into closed loop and actually uses the engine sensors to make it run more efficiently.

Then try putting the negative and posotive terminals together. This will shock your vehicles electrical system back to life. jk jk dont do that
