I was driving my ranger down a fairly rutted road the other day and I noticed that with every rut the box flexed at least half an inch. This also happened when driving over some uneven snow. should this much flex really be present?

you might want to check your body mounts. i know mine started to rust but it didnt flex that much. the ones on my 150 are shot and the bed flexes a lot

ya check them i just took my ranger out winter wheeling on the weekend an i was crawling over a big rock pile an once i got over it i got out to just talk to my buddies an noticed that my cab body line was about 2 inchs higher from the bed line, its because i tore the cab mounting bolt threw the frame hanger so ya check all ur bolts washers an bushing.
