So I am going to be getting a Truck Avenger Carb for my BII ... just not sure which CFM to get.. 470 or 670.. It's a big jump...The 470 seems to be the closest one or correct one to go with... (according to the calculation of 302 X 5500rpm / 3456), but I have heard some people say that Holley does not recommend the 470 for a 302. At the same time I dont want to overcarb with the 670..
I have a stock 302 with an edelbrock performer intake and a ford explorer cam shaft. I plan to drive alot on the street, and wheel occasionally on weekends..
What have some of you ran 470 vs 670? and what would you suggest the better fit be for my application.
