Get only the polypropelyne pucks. They dont crack. My brothers jeep has had them on there for 3 years and absolutely no problems.

The pucks are exactly an inch thick FWIW

see, problem is... even the PA bl's don't include bumper lifts for an 88.
not everyone is doing body lifts on newer vehicles. think about it..

and by the time you pay for the PA body lift (about 150-200?) and the gap guards (run about 100?) you're most the way to a 4" RC lift... or you could do some smart buying of used parts and have a complete 4" lift a lot better than the RC

Brackets are not hard to make and old tractor inner tubes are free. I would rather not have the gap guards anyway, they look like you are purposly trying to hide something. I did put splash guards (inner tubes pop riveted to the inner fender) around the front wheel wells though to keep trash out of the engine bay.

I got a piece of diamond tread drop for free from a trailer place until I snag a tube bumper for the back, then I can mount it how I want it.

I am spoiled on mine to the point that I really don't like working on stock RBV's at the JY... everything is so tight. It is easier to work on my Ranger with a 302 in it than the 2.8 was with the body at stock height. And I was able to run the exhaust over the frame and out the back so the only way it can get snagged on anything is after my rear axle gets ripped off... and honestly at that point who cares about the exhaust?
