I've been enjoying the free preview of Center Ice thats going on this month.

I find it difficult to get excited over billionaires locking out the millionaires. They don't wanna share their slice.

The good news is juniors got more TV airtime, and I enjoyed watching them play. They have more spunk & tricks than (older) NHL players for whom it's just a job. To be honest, I think juniors are more fun & equally high caliber of play. I started playing at the local arena almost a decade ago, so now I enjoy hockey more, but watch TV games much less. Mostly I watch for cool moves, like skating & stick-handling. Maybe in playoffs, when NHL tries harder.

Watching the Leafs play New Jersey...on my computer...I've only watched one other game and it comes through pretty good...not too choppy unless I bump it up to full screen...but good to see they have a team that might even make the first round...

They're doing great this season. Love my leafs no matter what, but I'm glad to see them do so good.

Yeah, I thought they were going to blow it last night...especially with that stupid broken stick penalty...must be a fairly inexperienced player to hang onto a broken stick in the heat of the action...but they survived even that...

I watched the Leafs first game against Boston and thought they might have a chance...I think the second game is on tonight so I'm going to be checking that in a bit...

Eddy, as the Leaf fans have been saying since 1967...there is always next year! They've done pretty good over the years so at least they've won more recently than Toronto...

well, the canes have only been around since 97 and they havent done much since they won the cup in 05-06 (they actually beat the leafs in the playoffs that year lol).

it's still fun to watch though, hockey is hands down my favorite sport to go to or watch on TV. i'll probably watch the playoffs as they get closer to the cup.

Well, that was close...leading 4-1 half way through the 3rd and they lose in OT...

At least they got some playoff experience now...as long as they don't shuffle most of their players away they will do much better in the following season...

I can't believe they lost that game. That's a big lead to blow in a game 7.
