hmmmmm Explorer 4" springs

I would guess about 5.5". Did you try searching to see if someone else has done it?

in all the years ive been here (since 2002 i think) ive never seen someone use the explorer superlift springs

and, that being said, at 147 per spring, thats a hell of alot cheaper then other alternatives

AND they come with bushings ready to bolt in and go, idk if the skyjackers do or not

i know that the explorer springs will work, the only difference is how the center pin is in the springs, u mist flip the pin, thats a forgone conclusion, but im in a much LARGER suspension setup then those springs would work for. im sure u will get ATLEAST 5.5" out of those springs, maybe 6 or more depending on how stiff they are

that is a good price for those; I would guess they would give you about 5" of lift.

idk why you would only expect 5" everyone ive seen using explorer springs gets atleast 1.5" out of them......

Because the Explorer springs with an add-a-leaf I installed on a buddies '86 only got 2" of lift from them.

u ever consider that those springs may have been whooped on, versus a BRAND NEW set of lift springs......

If I wasn't planning on chevy leafs I would try this!

thats why u check out my other thread, thats the CHEAPEST i found the springs i need ANYWHERE

Reviving an old thread from the dead...

mhughes, did you end up trying the Explorer lit springs out? I'm also looking at using them, just wondering what you thought if you tried them. The only thing I've noticed from the link you posted, is that they springs are only $118 each now, but you have to buy the bushings separately.
