Hey all! first time posting here, need some advice.

I hit a fox with my 2007 single cab rwd 5 speed:

What is the best place to go for stock replacement parts? Is there a relatively inexpensive aftermarket solution? What are the downsides, other than aesthetics, to just leaving it like it is?

Please direct me if there is a more suitable place on this forum for this question.

Thanks in advance!

That damage doesn't look bad in the photo.

My recommendations are;

U-Pull-it junk yard
Craigslist
LMC Truck or Rock Auto.

...and yes. There is a better part of the forum. I would recommend the "Exterior" category for this. You have posted in the Fabrication section where we talk about building new stuff from scratch or modifying other parts, etc. This is the "designing, cutting, grinding, welding, bending, etc." part of the forum. Also be sure to check out the "How To Tech" part of this website (click the tab up at the top of the page) for lots of great info about Rangers, Broncos and explorers.

Good luck with your repair.

Leaving it as is (or removing the rest of it) won't really hurt anything. Might hurt mileage and increase road noise would be the worst of it.

LMC truck might hve something, watch craigslist and JY's for a replacement if you are so inclined.
