Just had to throw this out there, I've been eyeballin Accel high voltage distributor box for my 94 4.0. Motor and tranny all just rebuilt and just about every other part is new. Current box works fine, only reason I'm looking at this is I can get it for dirt cheap from a surplus store. Just curious if anyone thinks it's worth 30 bucks, or if it's all just a gimmick? Thoughts?

I was wondering what you were talking about.

If you can get it for $30 it might not be bad to have as a spare, but as far as performance gains and such it won't do much that the stock setup doesn't already do.

Yes, +1

$30 for a coil pack is reasonable, they don't go bad that often, but one coil in the pack can fail.

The 4.0l engines like Motorcraft or Autolite spark plugs, they last longer

And with any Waste Spark System only use Regular Copper or Double Platinum, Single platinum will just be a waste of money as one bank will wear out the same as Regular copper
