98 2.5 manual tranny. got a bad engine misfire on cyl #4. replaced plug and wire even tho they were new, tried swapping coils, no change. that left me to believe it was a fuel injector. good compression as well. I figured I might as well replace all the injectors. I pulled the upper intake manifold off and cleaned that with throttle body cleaner as well as the throttle body, I thought about spraying the lower intake man but didnt want pieces of crud to fall into the engine so I left it. Anyways, replaced all 4 fuel injectors, and put everything back together with new gaskets. 99.9% sure vacuum lines are all hooked up the way they are supposed to be, and all sensors plugged back in. Started the truck and immediately the revs went super high, way higher than the high idle from a cold start, I would think without having a tach that they were well over 3500 rpms. I let it run for about 30 seconds before turning it off, tried restarting 2 more times and both times the same thing happened... any ideas?
