High idle

I have a 2004 Ranger 4x4 with a 4.0 and standard transmission that I recently purchased.
It was idling high and the CEL was on, showed a code for the tps. I had a new one installed and the light is off, but the idle hasn't changed.
Is there something else that I should look at it?

Make sure no one has fiddled with the throttle stop screw. Look up what the proper voltage from the tps should be with the throttle closed there's many posts about it
