hid projectors

i work at a salvage yard so i have access to plenty of lights. what factory installed projectors would be the easiest to retrofit in my ranger?

None of them. Pretty much any retrofit of a FACTORY installed HID assembly is going to require a total front end conversion to not look like total ass.

If you really want HIDs, just invest the money in a purpose made kit with the correct lens assemblies.

I did my retro fit back in 2012 using Mini d2s. These are old pictures but I don't think it looks like ass at all.

If anything you could grab TL projectors. They are excellent. s2k projectors are in my STi and they are by far superior to anything that came out of the Subaru's factory...lol

Most purpose made kits that are already made are cheap ebay assemblies that have horrible quality projectors with crappy cut offs.

I plan on doing another retro and either using Mini D2S but the 4.0 version.
