Hi everyone,

I just bought a 2002 Ford Ranger XLT 4x4 v6 w/ automatic trans, power window and power locks. It has 150K+ miles and lots of issues. Some of these I am looking to fix soon and other will become long term projects, hopefully.

The immediate problem right now is that the Driver side window does not work, the power lock does not work and neither does the rear view adjustment switch. What I mean is that I have a piece of paper wedged between the window and the rubber molding to keep it from falling. The switches were missing until opened the door cover. Looks like some of the cabling has been spliced and some have been cut. Here are some pictures of what I managed to take with my digital camera. These images are high resolution, so I figured it would be best if I upload them to picasaweb. Here is the link:

I would really like to get the power window working, as well as the power lock and rear view adjustment. I am hopefully, that you can guide me in the right direction with your collective wisdom.

Thanks and I look forward to hearing from you.
