Hello all,
Just picked up a little 98 XLT 2.5L standard 2WD and loving it. PO had lapsed on maintenance for a considerable time - had a great weekend taking care of a few odds and ends that needed attention: timing belt, water pump, primary and secondary plugs/cables/coils, accessory belt, coolant flush and change to universal, rad hoses, thermostat, injector clean and test, few vacuum lines, rear ABS sensor, dash lighting, fuel/air/oil filters, and panel bonding the shattered flarestyle bedside back together. After working on the truck it seems like it will be a pleasure and a joy forever. There'se certainly lots else to do but for now it runs and drives like a champ! I have a bit of refinish experience and I certainly don't shy from projects or tough jobs. Looking forward to learning more about these trucks and contributing whatever I can.
