Hi guys. My latest "tinker" truck, as my wife calls them, a 1994 Ranger XLT. Originally a 2.3 manual swapped by a previous owner to a 3.0 automatic. Mileage on the truck is 134,000, engine unknown. Lucked out with no rust a really solid little guy. Work on it so far TPS, MAF and intake. Future plans include dash replacement, flooring (currently a bare pan) ,a stereo and as of today possibly an alternator. Always had a thing for older trucks, cars and bikes mostly Fords along with one Scout II and a 99 S10.

What part of Virginia, if I may ask? I'm originally from Tidewater (Norfolk area), and I swear that road in the background looks familiar. If it is Tidewater, that's good enough. You don't have to give the city.

Nice. I live in the Hampton Roads area across the bay from Norfolk. The road in the pic is off of Jefferson Blvd.

Hey Stan, welcome to TRS

I picked up a couple spare alternators at the pick a part yard on the cheap a couple years ago.
There;s also a man near town that rebuilds them very well and very reasonable

After ordering a starter online and waiting for delivery to get it to the right place, and then me still having to go there to get it I went to rebuilding my own starters also, so they're fully Ford, I even have one in bottom of my tool box
