Hi everyone, I have always been in the 4x4 scene. I recently got my driving permit so I figured I should start working on my Ford ranger. I already have a 1972 Ford Econoline that is getting restored this winter. I want to make my ranger into a trail truck. I will be upgrading the front axle with a straight axle out of a jeep. I want to keep the 2.9 in it until it dies, then I might upgrade to a 302 smallblock. I like that it has a 5 speed in it also. There is no much major rust on it. The bottom of the driver door is the worst. Everything else just needs grinding and paint. It is a normal cab with a short bed. pretty much bone stock. The truck is at my Grandpas house so I will have to get some pictures for you guys.

Here is a few pictures, It actually was repainted by Ford because this certain paint color was not sticking. It still peeled off again years later.
