Hi my name is stephen and im from bham. im 20 i drive an 94 stx with a 4.0 and gasp.... and a4ld. help us all.

anyway i bought my "stranger" for 500 dollars and its been worth every penny.

i also have a civic but were not gonna talk about that.

i use my truck for everything and it has only let me down twice.

the radiator exploded (yes exploded i have pics) and it overheated.

which led to the 2nd time.

since as you know the tranny cooler is bolted to the radiator the tranny overheats too well guess what.

a4ld + HOT = fail. had to drive home with only 3rd gear no 1st 2nd 4th or reverse. red lights sucked...

but now i have a junkyard rebuilt trany (long story) out of an aerostar. (another long story) and all is well.

i hope to learn alot from this place. i kinda already have since ive been lurking as a guest.

if theres anyone from the bham area gimme a shout maybe we can meet up.

Welcome to TRS~!

Seems like you've got some hands-on experience already...good practice...:)

Just a little. mostly to do with the electrical cooling and transmission.

You gotta start somewhere...and as you build confidence it just becomes easier to take on bigger things...:)
