hey everyone im new here but i gotta say the tech page helped me a little on my v8 swap in my 89 ranger. 5.0 ho with 4bbl weinand stealth intake pertronix HEI dist. keith black flat tops. lunatin voodoo cam 54 cc alum heads from ford racing. 12" of total lift. np 435 4 speed manual bw1356 transfercase. I'm still with the stock 7.5 rear and dana28 front but has beensuprising so far. i fugured it would break the first time or two out but she still holding strong. 3.73 posi with 39.5 tsl super swampers. my pics are too big for here but you can see them on Facebook. Oh FYI on the v8 swap in the rangers on mine i found out that most of the ford midsize cars used the correct motor mounts to use not just the mustangs.

Sweet Man! Post up a build thread, and maybe it can help some of us. I plan on doing a 5.0 swap once I destroy my 2.9...... which probably won't take too long.. Ha ha.
