Hey, I have been refrencing this site for quite a while now and have found it quite usefull so I figured I should go ahead and join. I also have a question I will post in the correct section. I have my ranger for about a year now and that motor started ticking. Rather than taking a chance on being stranded somewhere I decided to go ahead and drop another motor in. Anyway Love the site.

Welcome, I know to we'll about the tick of death, mine did it for about a month, thought it was a lifter, turned out to be a wristpin haha that's my luck. How many did yours have?

Have 248k on the motor I pulled. I have pulled the old one out and have am about halfway through the install of a low mileage (80k) used motor.
