I used to own a 1990 Ranger and I loved it. Had to sell it back in 2010 cause I cracked the head and couldn't afford to get it fixed. Last week I bought an '88 and I'm stoked. Figured I'd join the group!

My first new vehicle was an 88 standard cab Ranger. At 6'1" it took a little time to get comfortable behind the wheel. But I put 300K on that truck... 50K after a V-8/AOD swap. Drunk chick turned left in front of me across three lanes and ended up totaled. I still miss that little truck.

Looks pretty good... but I think the running boards gotta go.

I'd certainly fit more comfortably in a bigger truck but damn I love the rangers. I was thinking the same thing about the running boards.
