Thought I might as well sign up for a Ranger-specific forum. I've been on here a few times before as a guest (lurking awesome build threads!) but decided to register today 
I got my Ranger back in October, and what a great first vehicle! I've never had so much fun driving so slow!
About the truck: It's a 1994 XL 2.3L 5-speed, regular cab is pretty cramped for a tall guy but at least I got the long bed! Had 351,000 km on it when I got it and I've put about 4000 km on it myself. It's been pretty good to me, only left me stranded once (timing belt broke at 354k, that was an "interesting" job, haha), it's a tough little truck!
Most of my mods have been cosmetic, tinted the windows on the canopy, found some cheap chrome bumpers from an XLT, cheap bush bumper and lights. But I also upgraded the intake and had a custom magnaflow cat-back put in, the motor can breathe now!

The last pic is the most recent, although now I have the canopy back on.
Next on the list is bigger tires and lower gears! (8.8 with 4.10's and LSD in a perfect world, but I'll settle for a 7.5 with 3.73's open diff if the price is right, anything is better than 3.45's)
