Justin here, bought an '89 Ranger 2.3, 2WD a while back. Been busy doing some fixing on it.

Does a basic Ranger just drive this funky or is there something else? Front end kinda hops over to the side on bumps. I've put new tires, shocks (Bilsteins), wheel bearings, track arm bushings, I beam bushings, center link and inner tie rod on it. The ball joints don't seem to have any noticeable slop. It does not have a factory sway bar front or rear but does have some bouncy ass springs.

Also, the rear track is off a bit. I replaced the shackles and leaf spring bushings on one side but haven't gotten to the other side yet. Hoping this fixes that as the springs are all tight and straight. The Moog bushings I used seemed nicer than the factory since they are solid and have inner and outer shells.

Later, peace etc.
