Hesitation

I have a 94 4.0 ranger and when its cold it has a bad hesitation and when its warm it fades away but still has just a little bit of hesitation. I have cleaned the MAF sensor. I have cleaned the IAC Valve. I have cleaned the intake and butterfly and have got new plugs, new wires, and a new fuel filter on it. Just cleaned and oiled the K&N air filter. Any suggestioins? Oh and i don't have an engine light on.

If it's temp related then it sounds like the thermostat or Intake Air Temp sensor.

Does it have an intake air temp sensor or is it built into the MAF sensor?

The 93-97 model rangers do have an intake air temperature sensor. It's in the air intake duct between the air cleaner and the throttle body.

Mine has nothing except for the MAF sensor Between the air cleaner and throtle body.

The 93-97 model rangers do have an intake air temperature sensor. It's in the air intake duct between the air cleaner and the throttle body.

93-94 4.0 rangers don't have an air temp sensor in the intake tube, 95-97s do.
