help!

Don't worry about the lights, the computer is just freaking out because the engine died for no reason. If i turn the key just far enough to kill the engine in my truck and leave the key cycled to run.... it does that.

I bet they ran the truck about 10 minutes then syphoned out your gas. Find a better shop.

When the fuel pump went bad on my car it had these symptons. Hard to start, required a heavier foot on the gas, before it died it bucked.

I no this sounds stupid but did you happen to push the fuel cutoff switch. It should be near the passenger side kick panel. Just push the button on top. Just a thought and it's FREE!

They probably dropped the tank and you should drain the tank to make it lighter. They didn't put all the gas back. Of course if they changed the pump it could be that the sending unit sees the level of gas differently.

They didnt drop the tank. They didnt charge me anything but $42 labor....thanks for the help guys, its much appriciated

could try fuel filter....cheap alternative

I changed the fuel filter about 5k miles ago...along with the spark plugs and wires

Thanks all!
FYI, it was the fuel pump....$765 later- im running..... I cant find a decent repair shop for crap like this around my area.... without getting ripped a new one.
