i have a 84 ranger with a 2.3 l i did a head gasket on it now there is oil comin from between the head n block on the left rear corner what could this be it runs great but leakin oil

I assume it needed the head gasket redone? If so, common that when a HG blows and is driven blown and coolant rushes out you get a warped surface. Sometimes not so bad sometimes enough to cause an incomplete seal even with a new HG...
Or if there is a bolt in that location retorque it...likely not though.

Just a couple ideas?
