Ok so I got a 93 Ext cab with an explorer 4.0 motor dropped in. I dropped the back by flipping the leaf springs and turning them around. My backend doesnt ride that bad except it bounces a little. I went to a custom shop to get some info on slammin the frontend down and they told me they could cut a few links out of the front shocks and it would drop it. Which it did. But now my camber is offset and my tires are wearing down like crazy. I'm tryin to avoud spending a buttload of money on I beams, But I cant find a camber kit... Any information would be GREATLY appreciated. Reply on here or email me at DestructiveDesigns@Yahoo.com. Thanx everybody!!!

Camber bolts for the front ibeams will help the tire wear. You could probably call a local alignment shop and tell them what you got and a front end alignment should help. i used to work for Oreillys and i know they have the bolt kits and if they dont they can order them.

if the front is dropped more than roughly 2" from stock the truck is probably not alignable without beams.

why are u even commenting, this is over a year old LOL

haha...it popped up under new posts.

i never think to check how old the original post is. it must have gotten dredged up when jim made the new lowrider forum.

Hahaha.... After a year of thinking about it, bagdranger STILL gives the wrong advice.

:icon_thumby: Dude, '93 had the I-beams that take the eccentric camber bushings that slip on around the upper balljoint.

Though, I do hope he figured this out a long time ago.
