hey guys. long time lurker, here, first time asker.

i sprung a leak in a power steering line but i have no idea what line it is or how to go about removing it. one one side, it is attached to the pump with a rubber hose and clamp and the other end of the hose is a bunch of bent metal line that goes directly into some part below the pump. it looks like that end may take an open ended wrench, but i figured i'd ask here first.
i have the following pictures, with red arrows pointing to the source of the trouble. if you guys could help me with what the hose is called/part number, and any ideas on how to get it out/the new one in, i would really appreciate it.

i should have mentioned, this is on my 1994 ford ranger 4 cyl rwd.

It appears the hose is the 'return line' that routes fluid from the power steering back to the reservoir. You may have to purchase a complete assembly, or be able to clamp some new hose onto a 'trimmed' metal line.
If you try to use hose, get some that will be fuel resistant(at least) as it should handle the ATF used as the working fluid. I'd also use two screw-type clamps on the tube after pushing the hose in place.
You should be able to find the part number at your dealer. A boneyard might also have the part you need in better shape than yours. The actual routing is not as important as the fittings connecting properly and not interfering with other under hood equipment.
In the past, you could purchase a 'seal kit' for PS pumps that included a large O-ring type seal for the reservoir. They tend to develop seepage problems over time as the factory O-ring ages and hardens. The ~$10-15 kit can make a leaky pump go dry.
