Hello. Thanks for reading my post.
I purchased a new Purge Valve for my Truck and the image with the part matched perfectly but what I got int he mail did not match the image.
Part Ordered: Motorcraft Fuel Vapor Canister Purge Valve Model #CX-2127.
The part arrived but it is missing the green twist valve. It looks the same except for that so I am unsure if this is a replacement for my truck?
Ford says yes but I am unclear if this is an error. Can anyone tell me if the part is okay for use in my truck even without the green valve stem? Or if I got the wrong part? Since the images do not match. I just want to make sure before I install it.
Image #1" The part I ordered and it looks just like mine now with the green stem in the image.
Image #2: Part I received from Ford that does not have the green stem.
*I appreciate any assistance in this. I am a DIY but get a lot of good advice on here.
