You guys that are runnung bags with compressors supplying your air how do you know when your compressor comes on? I have a compressor for my airhorn and I have it hooked up through a switch, now the switch glows red when power is on but what I need is some sort of indicator letting me know when the compressor is on or off, it has a pressure switch allowing it to turn itself on and off when needed but I have no was of telling when is comes on and when it goes off

well you should hear it. if you just put that switch in your hot wire to the comp everytime you flip the switch that light would light up in the switch and you would know its on. but if your running a pressure switch why do you wann aknow when its on or off?

but you should hear it for sure

i want to know when its on or off because it has a max run time of 7 mins and needs 30 mins to cool down, now the compressor doesnt know when 7 mins has passed and i dont want to fry a 200 dollar compressor so i need something to let me know when it has come on so i can monitor how long it stays on for, and this baby is so quiet i cant hear a thing just my loud ass truck lmao
