Reciently i scored these arms at the local yard. After finding out who made them, i was urged to plate the ears that have a tendency to crack off. While i was at it, i boxed in the arms with the scrap i had laying around. These things are quite robust now and i want to get them under the truck soon. Now to my question, On the driver side it looks like it will mount up fine but on the pass side there is a pinch weld/ lip on frame that would interfer with the mount. Any ideas of how this mounts, do i need to cut that part of the frame flat ect?

this is the part in question. and yes i know my welds look purty. haha but i'm learning.

What types of mounts do you have? Have pictures we can see? with the particular mounts for my arms i had no issues on the passenger side but had to move and relocate my parking brake cable holder further up because of it being in the way..

I didn't use the stock bracket as I have heims, but you"ll have to do the same.

Hmmm didn't interfere with my mounts...but my arms are probably longer than yours.

this is what my mount looks like. on the vehicle i got these off of at the yard, they were right behind the body mounts. The driverside has a hole in the bracket for the ebrake mount. That really bumbs me out i got to cut the frame to mount these suckers. Superlift gets a A for engineering.:icon_thumby:

Thanx for those instructions. Didnt know i had to grind out two of the rivits on each body mount. on the vehicle these came off of, they were right behing the mount. good to know, that will save me from drilling more holes. Crappy part is my homemade sliders have a mount where the pass rad arm will mount so i'll have to cut that off and reweld it further down. What a headache!
thanx again

Get a long handled cresent wrench and bend that lip. It took me 5 minutes.. If you have a long jawed vice, you can man handle it in there and get the area you bent nice and straight again.. No grinding or cutting needed..

that's exactly what I was thinking...

interesting, Im gona try that first and hopefully save myself some cutting. Thanx
