Help with front d-shaft

well i have embarked on a epic voyage to replace my clutch and i have droped the rear drive shaft now i am working on the front i have sprayed the piss out of the bolts with some power lube let it sit over night then sprayed in the am now im like:icon_confused: i know that i need a 30-t torx bit well i broke one and the other twisted bad now im stuck im not sure what to do i was wondering if anyone could help me out and tell me how they got there front drive shaft off. if there are some tricks that i might not know. keep in mind i have basic tools and have acess to a torch but idk if that is gonna destroy anything. Thanks
 
you are going to feel incredibly stupid when I give you the solution....

pop the coupler fitting off the t-case that seals the slip joint and just pull the t-case down. You dont have to unhook the front shaft from the pig at all.....

Your welcome. I just got done doing my throw out bearing on my b2 Saturday (I have had to pull my trans 3 times in the past year). PM me if you have any questions. Do yourself a favor and replace your slave and throw out bearing while you are in there so you are not pulling it again soon.
