Help!!! Which One!!!!!

I like the second one. It overall looks better and has a better interior and I'm guessing the first one has a Dana 28 and the second one has a better Dana 35.

Those Rancho radius arms aren't that swift.

Wouldn't a 2.9 truck possibly have the hybrid axle? So if you are going to wheel either truck hard you will probably need to deal with a different front axle and lift with either truck anyway. To just rip around town they would probably be ok the way they are now.

$1475 is way more than I would pay a truck in primer though, if it is solid and not full of bondo maybe a grand. For what they are advertising, pricewise the 1992 would be a better deal for the money, and of course they will probably come down from that.

Not sure where your getting the prices unles you called them due to the price you listed and the price they listed are diff. Are you sure the 92 is not a 4.0 cause it says 6cyl.4 and nothing about a 2.9. O and if the 92 is a 4.0 def get it so you wont to have to do the swap yourself later.

Go with the second one man!

Strange, I was looking at the second one on ksl also, not very many Utahns on here...

my 92 is a 2.9 and i got the 35, so not always.

I think the only time you are garenteed a D35 is with the 4.0 though, and is sort of an option with the smaller engines.

I may be wrong but I pretty sure that is how it was.

the second one is alot better everything is stronger the old one has a dana 28 front the 92 has a dana 35 and the t-case in the older one is a BW1350 the 92 BW 1354 and it should be a floor shift that year with a 2.9 and even if it's a push button just take the connections off clean them and put alot of dielec grease on them u will have no problems after and like one of the other guys said 4.0 swap when the 2.9 blows up

I can’t seem to see a T-case shifter on the Floor for the second one either (just going off what the guy told me)… I have looked at the first one and the lift seems pretty solid and I am pretty sure he is wrong on the 4’’ lift it has 235/75/R15 on it now and not a lot of room for much more, the first one is also a push button 4wheel drive on the roof of the cab, the price is correct on both already talked both guys down, but have not had a chance to go see the second one yet, The second one may have a 4.0 but the guy was not sure so I figured it was a 2.9 ( didn’t think I would get lucky enough to find an older truck with the 4.0 already in it)… I am a little worried about the Hybrid axle thing though…! They are both Manual Transmissions and I am going to go look at the second one tomorrow… Keep everyone updated on WHICH ONE!

Long Time coming!!!

Well it’s been a long time and I have finally found my new rig…

1990 Eddie Bauer Edition
Rough Country 4” lift and 2” coil spacers
Lifted GM Shackles for the rear (not yet installed)
32/11.50 on stock rims
Cut Fenders
CB radio
Custom Length Rear Drive Shaft
Stock 2.9
Auto Hubs
Still trying to figure out if it has the dana 35 up front (ID tag missing)

Future possible mods include…Warn Manual hubs, Manual floor shift T-case, 8.8 Rear axle, lower gearing, Pace Performance Flex Flares, Steel Rims, Full size spare, and what ever I feel like needs to be done in order to be satisfied with the power from the motor.

So Im sorry it has taken me so long to get and post up my new rig But here it is….
