help weird problems with my 2.9

ok wen the truck is started cold it runs great,great power, good idle everything, but after i drive 20 miles or so it starts sounding weird and will die at every redlight unless i two-foot it(press brake and gas) it only takes a couple miles to make it do this when i have my trailor behind it. regardless of water temp

My truck acted kinda like that after I cleaned the old IAC (Idle air control valve). I had to replace it. Mine also had other problems too including the FPR (fuel pressure regulator) but the dying at idle happened because of the idle air valve. The way I found the problems I couldn't find was having a diagnostic computer put on it,not a code reader. It's kinda expensive but paid for having it done by not replacing parts that wasnt bad.

i had that same problem with mine when i first got it. i cleaned out the air intake with about an entire can of intake cleaner, and had to fix a collapsed air breather thingy ( cant remember the name) its the part that connects under the air filter box and then runs under the battery to a breath port in the grill, plastic and is also conected to the air box by a vacuum hose. did thoes two things and it stoped dieing at lights.
