help w/89 ranger wont start

posted a note in urgent help. i have an 89 ford ranger 2.9 L 4X4. It started and ran fine this morning got ready to leave today and it wont start. it turns over fine. fuel pump runs, i have fuel at the fuel rail test point. have no tools and getting cold. any ideas and help greatly appreciated.
