I'm trying to remove the clutch pedal switch on my 05 ranger so I can do a bench bleed on my clutch fluid system. My pedal switch doesn't have the white clip that slides out like I've seen on some of the video's others have posted showing how to do this. My question is do I just pry up the black cover on each side? I just don't want to break this thing so I figured I'd ask first. Thanks for any help.

when i first pulled mine off my 1994 i didnt know you could pull the white deal off the side, so i ended up holding the assembly back with locking pliers and removing the clip inside that way. thats what i would try.

Thanks, I ended up just prying it up on each side with a small flat head screw driver.
