Help please! I have a backfire problem

Did you get it fixed? wat was the problem. If not are you still workin on it? or are you gonna take it somewhere to get it fixed. I think it might be electrical wiring problem. the tach stops when it backfires but you tested the ignition module. Possibly a loose wire or something along that line

Might be the catalytic converter gone bad, it being a 1991. Thats pretty old for a catcan to survive. Did ya replace it w/the mods you mentioned? check to see if you get good pressure coming out of your exhaust pipe at start up. I know they can mess up performance when they start falling apart.
Also, dont mean to get politcal here, but I sure hope Shady's upside down American flag is a mistake. like it or not, alot of great Texans have died for its cause. Thats damn disrespectful to them and all Vets past and present. Dont lump us all with some of those nuts currently in DC.
