Hello I'm O'Brian 38 and I need some help and guidance. I'm getting ready to a swap in my 90 ranger from a 2.3 to a 302 from a 82 Granada. I'm new to this and the forum and any help or guidance would really be appreciated. I see that the heater box is one problem I will encounter and I've seen how to fix it, but I'm wondering if there's any cutting on the frame or anything that would need to be done. Thanks in advance.

Check out the tech section... there's a write that gives you all the specifics i can't hyperlink it from my phone. But it's easy to find

If you can find or source an efi motor, it would be better, 96-97 explorer 5.0 would be the best, as it has the tightest front engine accessory drive (FEAD) and is needed. Wiring wise using the ex harness and ecu you only need 5 wires to get the engine running, a couple more if you want the factory oil and water gauges working. I've done numerous v8 swaps using the ex motor and I'd be happy to help you on it if you need it...
