help needed figuring out what the hell is this.

yeah i will try to get some pictures tomorrow morning and post them at later that night since i work almost all day.. the ignition wire which was the one disconnected is yellow and black stripe.

try the light green/yellow, thats the constant 12v wire.
for a test connect the memory wire and power wire from your radio to this wire.

i really recommend u to get that test light to check the yellow black for voltage

make sure ur using light green/black as your ground/negative wire, add a wire to the metal frame inside the dash and try it as a ground too.

check up the radio fuse too
i think its fuse #11 but im not sure, ill check my owners manual tomorrow

ok so i got power back into my deck the only problem is that the ignition wire(yellow/black) is not working. So its directly connected to the constant wire so it is running. Would it be a problem on the long run such as my battery running out quicker or is it enough just by turning of the deck every time i turn off the truck.??

Not to be master of the obvious, but when you connect the ignition wire to the deck are you turning the key on before checking for power? THe ignition wire is the one that lets the radio only come on when the key is in the on or acc position. It also runs through your fuse panel. I would wire it up including the ignition wire. Turn the key on or to acc and start trouble shooting as if it was a factory radio. checking relays and fuses and all that.

find the accessories wire and check for blown fuses like froggy said.
