yeah my 95 ranger that has the hybrid in it with a broken right hand inside axle has 4.10 gears in it. anybody have a pig with the right gears and the inner axles for sale???
I will say that it's a little difficult to find the non-hybrid D35's with 4.10's. I'd been serching for over a year and still haven't found any locally.
Most will go in the $200-$300 range, that is if the person knows what they have.
Another option is to regear a True D35 pig. It'd be a litte on the expensive side.
If you do opt for the second choice, I have a true D35 chunk, and axle shafts for you.
any suggestions on where to look? I am lost without 4wd when the snow starts to fly! the thing has 278,000 miles but just keeps on going. I am willing to spend as much as it takes, as a matter of fact I found a replacement axle out in oregon but the guy knows it is hard to find.. wants $500. for it hahaha
I would 2nd finding a true D35 chunk for it. If you can't locate a 4.10 one, then I'd also say to bite the bullet on regearing one. Who knows how much longer before the other side gives with that much mileage (the small inner spline is the weak link on the hybrid shafts).
