carburator and egr valve

Ok. once again, thank you for all the input on this. I will adjust the carb as soon as its back on the truck. I decided to take the egr valve out to see if it was in working order. I uploaded a few videos on "you tube" again. Some are from yesterday, and two are from today from removing the egr valve. I found a lot of gunk on the valve it self and also on the spacer that goes over the intake manifold. (where the vacuum tree is). Please view them on the following order, and please feel free to comment on what you see. I really appreciate all of the info you guys are providing me with.

Duraspark wiring is not that hard, though I found it easier and cheaper to convert to points, get everything running correctly, then go Pertronix.
