Hey guys, I really want to do the 64" chevy spring swap and shackle flip, but I can't figure out how to identify between the two.

Yes, I have read everything in the tech library and both say they come off a chevy/GMC 1500 - 2wd preferred. Also, the 63 swap says 88-98's, so I'm guessing 99- have the 64's?

Thanks

Catalog 215 - Leaf Springs

GMC/Chevrolet - Pickup; 1988-00; Rear

C and K - Series; Rear; 1988-00
C1500 (2WD) 1988-98
K1500 (4WD) 1988-98
Silverado Classic 1500 and Sierra Classic 1500 (2WD) and (4WD) 1999
C2500 and C3500 (2WD) 1988-00

All springs are 64" long and use 9/16" diameter spring bolts

Perfect.:icon_thumby:

So somewhere along the lines somebody didn't measure correctly and wrote 63"??

Could it be that the eyelet centers are to be 63 ? that way the shackle is always over center in the sprung position ???

No Idea, just a wild guess.
