Help me Build my 89

first, you need to figure out what axles you have.

for the lift, you need a drop pitman arm, if you want it to be a crawler you need to get some extended radius arms or you wont flex for shit. you'll also need something to lift the rear. the cheapest way is blocks, but again, no flex there plus you'll add axle wrap. if you want flex, get lifted leaf springs....oh and extended brake lines will also be needed.

you could probably run 35's with a 4 inch lift and the bushwacker flares

you're way over paying for those manual hubs as well, you can get them used on here for less than $100 shipped to your door.

I have the Standard Axles, Im gonna swap in 8.8's.
The lift kit from Skyjacker im getting is a 4 inch lift in front and in rear.
Are extended brake lines expensive?

what do you mean standard axles? 7.5 and d28?

brakelines are around $100 everywhere you go, the ones jester posted would be fine.

badass b2 jester, i love that thing

Trust me, I can play.:D

I have no idea, try summit. Skyjacker makes extended radius arms and so does James Duff. I'm not running sway bars, and I got my stabilizer from 4 Wheel Parts.

Is this Lift by Tough Country really worth it? and better than Skyjacker?

no the tough country kit isnt better but it is cheaper, if i were to choose it would be the tough country because, well its cheaper.

and i would re think those fender flares u posted in ur first post. it says they will fit 83+ models and even up to 92 models in the application chart. that isnt right, should be one or the other. and if im not mistaken, bushwacker discontinued the front flares for the 89-92 models. i would call summit and see what they are truly for. also since you have an 89, chances are you got a d28. which needs to be upgraded to the d35 if u plan on running big tires and u like the gas pedal

The Skyjacker is cheaper...
d35? Dana 35's? i like the gas pedal. :)

ok sorry i thought it was just the base tough country. and yes dana 35, bolt in swap, but front driveshaft needs to be narrowed 1.5-2"

Seriously? On a 2nd gen with 4" lift only could wear 35s? :/ You thinking 3rd gen? Ive been told numerous times on here that i would have a hard time fitting 33s with my 4" susp lift, but i would love for them to be wrong lol
