Help ID transmission

So the door sticker is either missing or painted over on my 87 ranger.
2.9, 5 speed, 4x4.

Found the tag below, is that enough to determine trans code? I haven't been able to find anything that allows me to say with absolute certainty what trans code.

I was going to post a pic, but my phone resolution was too high and I can't resize it small enough. I'll try to get to it on the computer later, but the tag reads:
H1661 1350-17 (the 7 is iffy, obscured by road debris there)
243916 E67A- (anything further obscured by road debris)


Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

The factory spec would have been a Mitsubishi FM145. Check in the Tech Library for a transmission ID guide to verify that.

The numbers you provided also confirm that you have a BW1350 transfer case, which is correct for that year and model.
