I HAVE A 94 FORD RANGER 2.3L 4X2 AND I RECEIVED THE FOLLOWING CODES FROM THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT.

CODES:
111
172
223
224

ANY IDEAS OR WEBSITES THAT I CAN USE TO FIND OUT WHAT THESE CODES ARE RELATED TOO.... ANY TAKERS.... (I KNOW ONE OF THEM IS 02 SENSOR):dntknw:

111-all clear.
172-o2 sensor. try cleaning the MAF and see if that does the trick
223-224- ignition system codes. start by checking the coils with a multimeter.

How do you check the coils with a multimeter? Secondly, what am i supposed to look for when checking? Will replacing the coils help with overall power?

Usually when you see two ignition codes together, the ICM is at fault. If one of the coil packs is bad the idle gets pretty rough.
