I'm trying to disconnect the main big white harness connector at the firewall. I turned the 10mm bolt counterclockwise umpteen times. Maybe its stripped? Should turning the bolt pull apart the connection? Is there a partial turn on the white connector needed? Perhaps I need to get out my mini-sledge?
I'm super frustrated with the lack of intuitive connections on all automotive vehicles....
Help me before I hurt myself or my truck with a BFH.

Disconnect bolt, will sorta flop around when fully out.

Very easily could be a little stuck due to connector design.

How cold is it there this morning? Could have a frost monster jammed up in there

Yeah, it feels like the nut inside is stripped. Temp is a few degrees below 0 Celcius.
FML. I'm going to try a prybar while turning the bolt. I really need the inside harness, so if I have to I will cut apart the outside one.
If you happened to have a pic of the connector while disconnected might help in not ruining it while cutting apart....
Thanks

Took my cordless grinder out with a zip disc...4 seconds later it came apart.
Now I have to figure out how to get rid of the rest of the bolt and make sure the nut can't spin.
I think I will drill a small hole perpendicular to and into the nut and use a roll pin.
