well, the title says it all..i just noticed today and it only leaks when she is running.. its red and kinda runny
i was thinking maybe antifreeze in the radiator or power steering fluid?
video uploading..computer running slow
thanks

didn't see any video... if it is anti-freeze it would have that distinctive smell. ATF can be in the trans or power steering, and it a lot more oily than anti-freeze. ATF will smell also, but sometimes not very strong. Take it by a carwash, steam it off, and watch it. You'll find the dern thing.

power steering leak, its too close to the front to be a tranny leak

the power steering and trans take the same fluid, it could easily be the power steering, but i would also check the cooling lines for thetrans that run to the radiator

Looks like its directly under the cooler lines for the transmission to me.

yup it is, theres also some on the crossmember for the engine

Follow the cooler lines and looks for wet spots. Might need to replace the lines.

i looked at the lines and seen the coolant but never seen any cracks or anything, ill take a closer look tomorrow

i went out and looked and its everywhere over the crossmember thats where its driping from, i jus wanna know how its gettin on the cross member i cant find anyplace where its leaking and i dont think its the cooler lines.

I'd say it's the trans cooler lines. There should be two lines that run along the oil pan on the passenger side of the engine. Likely one of the steel lines has rotted through or was rubbing on the engine crossmember.

On the drivers side of the rad there will be 2 steel lines going into the side tank. Follow those two lines back to the transmission. Bound to find the leak on those lines.

thank you joel and also sometime when im using her {she got a a4ld} its almost like the trans will slip, i can just be idling along doing about 15kmh or about 2000 rpm and she will just slip out of gear and go to neutral, then i will have to rev her up to about 3000rpm to get her to kick in, and sometimes she like it while just starting off and putting her in gear to

Check the trans fluid level and the PS fluid level. Which ever is low or empty is the culprit. +1 to trans fluid if it's slipping. Also wouldn't hurt to change the trans filter and clean the material out if it hasn't been done in a really long time. But it may be too late for your trans.

Pete

they both are pretty high, though the trans fluid could use some topping up

and how do i go about changing my trans filter?
thanks
