i have a 86 bronco 2,when its realy cold its slow to start runs for a moment then
dies but will restart and stay running ?replaced all sensors ,fuel pumps, filters, brain box ,any ideas jay

Its a 26 year old motor! Give her a little throttle when it starts up, keep the rpms at 1200-1300 for a few seconds.

its fuel injected don't need to play with the pedal beside this is the second motor ive put in it the old one did it to.its something in the truck not on the motor. its only when its cold outside its funky if its warm it has no problem

Are you using 5-30 oil or 10-30? Maybe a lower viscosity will help?

I would suspect the IAC if it has not been replaced.

i a c has been replaced ,,,,oil weight not the issue,,keep the thoughts coming please

Have you checked it for codes? Maybe something with the EGR? Perhaps it's blocked?

I'd check codes next..

Ok, that displays a wonderful misunderstanding of EGR.

The EGR port being plugged up would not stop it from running. The valve being stuck open would prevent it from starting period.

Check fuel pressure before you turn the key on, as you turn the key on, and cranking.

Egr is brand new so are both the fuel pumps
